No pain, No gain (Fact) Okay Im not a super graceful person. But normally when I am photographing people I can seem fairly cool. Not this time. If only you all could see the hott mess going on behind the camera. From the fire ants to the mean evil weed that injected it’s thorns of death into me. We came out with beyond epic images. I’ve wanted to capture an orange grove shoot since I have picked up a camera. I loved it. I love the leading lines and with how amazing my couple was we got some extra stunning images. The lighting was my ultimate favorite sort of lighting. I love when I have couples that just melt into each other. Even tho these two have been dating for years I felt like they had so much fun with each other and I think it shows within the pictures. Plus any bride that’s down with an orange grove is def my type of lady!! I guarantee their wedding will be wonderful

Did I mention I even broke my shoes and had to borrow flip flops from my clients. I will always be rocking my cowboy boots in orange groves from here on out. Good plan!

Disney’s boardwalk family portraits

I love capturing growing families. It really means the world to me when I get to met up with families again and again. Being in Orlando it is a perfect location for all the disney vacationers. If your on your way to disney we can set up a shoot at one of the disney resorts. It a really perfect way to showcase your disney vacation memories. Mark has promised me from now on every vacation we can budget for meeting other photographers while we are there. Plus its really a fun, different way to connect with the ones you love. You prob will remember this family I photographed a year ago at the polynesian resort. You will notice this new addition too! They are lucky I didn’t steal her and the stroller. We always get such stunning candid shots. We were also incredibly lucky to have shot the boardwalk sign without a bus in the way!! That was a first yup I did a lil dance

“No I promise I don’t care if my dress gets wet.”

I love moments and clients (friends) like this! Loni. So carefree and easy going. Truly matching her beach wedding venue, care free, and calm. I felt so at ease photographing there day. Their entire family welcomes you all with open arms. Plus the day was planned out perfectly too. We started with some getting ready images. The boys were in the same location as the girls in the beach house so I was able to zig zag and get both of them getting ready. We also had created such touching (yes I cried) moments of Loni and her dad. They did a first look. His reaction and long hug got me. Then we did a first look with Loni and Sam. Va va voom. Sam is one lucky man!! they were able to schedule a ton of time for their pictures. We did the wedding party first then we captures Loni and Sam’s portraits. So smart! Extra gold star. The wedding party loved their bride and groom even more for just that reason. Then we captured Loni and Sam’s portraits. I even stopped this girl on the beach to borrow her bike adorable pictures. Since we were able to photograph pictures around the beach earlier in the day it showcased the aqua blue water colors. Later in the day you get the warmer looking water. So Then they relaxed a bit before their ceremony. Gorg ceremony with a ton of personalized touches. After the ceremony we did a quick session with the family and straight into dinner and dancing. I also pulled Loni and Sam away from their reception for even more wonderful portraits in the golden Florida sunset.

They had so many special touches through our there day with the help of their family’s. Michelle Loni’s gorg sister planned and organized the flow of the day. She also married them Loni’s family created the yummy tasty cake. There were just so many touches. Hence the gigantic blog post to follow in two parts

I am a firm believer that people come into your life to change and shape you. Loni and Sam have been one of those special couples. We clicked right away. In fact everyone in their family were amazing. It was like photographing family. When couples trust you 100% you get images like these from their engagement session to their two weddings I really got to know them and they were able to know me. One of the most valuable things you could do for your wedding is to trust your photographer. If you can have multiple sessions, from boudoir, bridal shoots, engagements session. I really think these help make the wedding day run 10 times smoother. I know how I can pose you. You see how I shoot. Plus you can tell me which are your favorite images and that will help me in posing you more in the way you like.

Magic Kingdom Portraits

Please note : No photo shoots are in the actual disney parks, only on their resorts. I was just hanging out with my friend and her beautiful babies for the day.

So even tho I can not shoot in the actual disney parks I would like to share some pictures of Kelly and her girls. They went to disney and we were able to hang out for a day in the Disney parks. We just did a session at the Grand Floridian resort a few days prior but since I needed a little disney fix Kelly let me hang out with them. Clearly I go everywhere with my camera so while we were bored waiting in lines we snapped a few picture throughout the day. It was great way to entertain the kids as they were bored in line Enjoy!!!

I was so thrilled to photograph my close friends new addition! This is Caden! He is Mason’s younger brother. Anyone who knows me knows that if I had a choice I would want 2 boys So clearly I was so happy when I found out that they were having another boy! This way Mason and Caden can be best friends for life. Built in Best men for each other’s weddings. Mason is a great big brother and was a great at posing for the session. I am just smitten with these images!! So glad I was able to capture his newness

Walt-Disney-World-Portraits : Disney’s Grand Floridian

Looking back through my family pictures there’s one person always missing. Clearly her presence is always there, shown with our clothing nicely tucked in and the way she would tie our hair back neatly. But she was rarely present in our family albums. My mother. I really wish she could have just handed my dad the camera a few more times. This is so easy to forget. Life is crazy busy and we are lucky enough to even document the moments. I still to this day haven’t been able to get a family portrait session done with my family. It drives me insane. That’s why I love what I do tho. I am able to capture these moments that everyone gets to treasure for many, many years to come. I do have this one shot of me and my mom…. I’m prob 5 months old, sleep on her chest and mom is looking down at me. We are, where we are every weekend, at the beach on our family’s favorite beach spot which is only accessible by boat. The world was perfect that day I imagine.

I can not even explain how excited I am to share this blog post with you all. It was great meeting up with Kelly and her girls while they were in town for a girls get-a-away trip to Disney. She took sometime to have moments captured of her and her two adorable little girls at the Disney’s Grand Floridian. Disney’s Grand Floridian is great for pictures. It has a fantastic beach with wonderful evening lighting. They have a darling grassy area and we were able to pop right on the monorail to grab some shots at the contemporary resort. I did a little dance when we got on the monorail and we were the only ones on board on that specific section!!

Now every time she see’s the rain, she will remember her wedding day. The weather was slightly unpredictable but her details were amazing. You could see her vision and feel this weight of support. Now I have been to weddings (clearly) and these families are rockstars! They really are their for one another. I have seen this happen before at Chris and Nicole’s Wedding last June. I wish I could put it into words better. I was trying to explain it to my mom after the wedding. Nicole and Lauren are cousins. That’s how I met Nicole and Lauren is my oldest sisters best friend. Lauren and my sister lived together throughout their college careers. In fact she almost has lived with Jenn longer than I have But back to the epic love and support. That family really is their for one in the most unselfish way. So it was such a pleasure to see their families again. Plus they like to dance

Wild Acres villa is a photographer’s paradise for picture locations. It’s this cute little anthropologie house with all these nooks and crannies to photograph in. Also the dress up location for the bride – agh-mazing. The window light was gorg! The ceremony was situated under the oak trees and when Lauren walked down the aisle I loved Dan’s look. That look was on his face the whole time. Made for some great portraits too!! They do have an effortless love. One that was extremely present at their wedding and I adored everything from this wedding. Congrats Lauren and Dan!! Thanks for the awesome-sauce wedding!
